Lady Elizabeth Campbell (born 24 September 1959), known as Liza Campbell, is a Scottish artist, calligrapher, columnist, and writer. She is the second daughter of Hugh Campbell, 6th Earl Cawdor. He was the Earl of Cawdor. Her mother was Cathryn Hinde.
Liza was the last child of an Earl Cawdor to be born at Cawdor Castle. This historic castle is in Scotland. She grew up there during the 1960s. Later, she studied art at the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London. Between 1990 and 1996, she lived in different countries. These included Mauritius, Kenya (in Nairobi), and Indonesia.
Liza Campbell's Creative Work
Liza Campbell is a talented artist. She has shown her artwork in many galleries. Her art includes special engraved soapstone pieces. She has also created interesting collages. Her exhibitions have been held at places like All Saints Gallery and the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery.
From 2000, for four years, she wrote a regular column. It was called Adventures of a Past It Girl. This column appeared on the back page of a publication.

Liza Campbell was the second of five children. She had two older sisters and two younger brothers. Her parents divorced in 1979. They had been married for 22 years.
For several years, she dated Imran Khan. He was a famous Pakistani cricketer. Later, he became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
In 1990, Liza married William Robert Charles "Willie" Athill. He was a big-game fisherman. They lived on a desert island together for two years. Liza and Willie have two children. Their daughter, Storm, was born in 1990. Their son, Atticus, was born in 1992. Liza and Willie later divorced in 1993. In September 2021, her daughter Storm married Richard Hollingsworth.
In 2013, Liza Campbell was quoted in the New York Times. The article talked about an old rule called primogeniture. This rule meant that only the oldest son could inherit titles and property. Liza explained that this rule was unfair to girls. She said, "The fancy part of it makes people forget that it's really just sexism. It affects a small group of wealthy people, where girls are seen as less important than boys."
Liza mentioned that she loves her younger brother, Colin Campbell, 7th Earl Cawdor. However, she called his inheriting the family title and estate a "peculiar situation." She also shared some advice her father gave her about car safety: "Remember to wear a safety belt, because your face is your fortune."
