Lady Elizabeth Campbell (born on September 24, 1959), also known as Liza Campbell, is a talented artist, calligrapher (someone who creates beautiful handwriting), and writer from Scotland. She is the daughter of Hugh Campbell, who was the 6th Earl Cawdor. Liza was the last child of an Earl Cawdor to be born at the famous Cawdor Castle in Scotland. This castle is sometimes mistakenly linked to Shakespeare's play Macbeth.
Liza grew up in Cawdor Castle during the 1960s. She later studied art at the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London. Between 1990 and 1996, she lived in different countries like Mauritius, Kenya (in the city of Nairobi), and Indonesia.

A Note on Inheritance Laws
In 2013, Liza Campbell was quoted in an article in New York Times. She talked about an old law called primogeniture. This law meant that the oldest son would inherit titles and property, even if he had older sisters. Liza explained that this law was unfair to girls, saying it was "sexism in a privileged minority."
She mentioned that she loved her younger brother, Colin Campbell, but found it "peculiar" that he inherited the family title and estate just because he was a boy. Liza also shared a funny piece of advice her father gave her about safety: "Remember to wear a safety belt, because your face is your fortune."
