Long Lake is a small community known as a hamlet in Alberta, Canada. It is located in the central part of Alberta, within an area called Thorhild County. The hamlet sits on the western shore of a lake also named Long Lake. It is about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) east of Highway 63. The larger city of Edmonton is about 114 kilometers (71 miles) southwest of Long Lake.
