Longview is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. Longview is approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Starkville and approximately 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Sturgis.
Longview was formerly incorporated from 1902–1939. It was known as the 'Crosstie Center of the World.'
The Longview Opry is located in an old schoolhouse within the Longview community.
It was first named as a CDP in the 2020 Census which listed a population of 295.
