Lonwabo Lennox Tsotsobe (born 7 March 1984) is a former South African international cricketer. He played for the national team and also for the Dolphins in South Africa.
In November 2008, Lonwabo was first chosen to play for the national team. This was for the Test matches during a tour of Australia. He was later picked for the One Day International (ODI) games too.
In April 2011, Tsotsobe joined Essex County Cricket Club in England. He played as an overseas player. Later, he faced some challenges related to cricket rules. This led to him taking a break from playing.

Starting His International Career
Lonwabo Tsotsobe made his first international appearance for South Africa. This was in a Twenty20 International match. He played against Australia on 11 January 2009. The game took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Just a few weeks later, on 30 January, he had a great start in his first One Day International (ODI) game. He took 4 wickets for 50 runs in nine overs. This was also against Australia. South Africa won that match by 39 runs. They also won the ODI series by 4 games to 1.
He then played his first Test match in June 2010. This was against the West Indies in Trinidad.
Playing for South Africa
Lonwabo also played in a Twenty20 International against Zimbabwe. He replaced Morné Morkel, who was injured. In that game, he took the important wicket of Hamilton Masakadza.
He was part of the South African team for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. In this tournament, South Africa reached the quarter-finals. Tsotsobe is known for bowling at a good speed. He can bowl deliveries between 120 and 135 kilometres per hour. He also helps keep the opponents' scores low.
