Lonwabo Lennox Tsotsobe (born 7 March 1984) is a former South African international cricketer. He played for the South African national team and also for the Dolphins in local competitions.
In November 2008, he was first chosen to play for the national team. This was for the Test matches during a tour of Australia. He was also picked for the One Day International (ODI) matches.
In April 2011, Tsotsobe joined Essex County Cricket Club in England. He played as an overseas player. His performance was not as strong there. After taking five wickets in three first-class matches, he was not chosen for the team anymore. He took eight wickets in five one-day matches. He felt unhappy about this time, saying it was "the worst two months" of his life.
His professional cricket career ended in July 2017.

Starting His International Career
Lonwabo Tsotsobe played his first international game for South Africa on 11 January 2009. This was a Twenty20 International match against Australia. It took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
On 30 January 2009, he played his first One Day International (ODI) match. He took 4 wickets for 50 runs in nine overs against Australia. South Africa won that match by 39 runs. They also won the ODI series against Australia by 4 matches to 1.
He made his Test match debut in June 2010. This was in the first match against the West Indies in Trinidad.
Playing in the World Cup
Tsotsobe also played in a Twenty20 International against Zimbabwe. He took an important wicket of Hamilton Masakadza. He was part of the South African team for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. In this tournament, South Africa reached the quarter-finals. Tsotsobe was known for bowling at good speeds, usually between 120 and 135 kilometres per hour. He was also good at keeping the opponents from scoring too many runs.
