Lordstown is a small village located in southern Trumbull County, Ohio, in the United States. In 2020, about 3,332 people lived there. It is part of the larger Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area.

History of Lordstown
Lordstown started as one of the first survey townships in the Connecticut Western Reserve. It was known as Town 3, Range 4. The area was named after Samuel P. Lord, who helped plan the township. In 1975, most of Lordstown Township officially became the village of Lordstown. Only a small part was added to Warren Township.

How Many People Live Here?
In 2010, there were 3,417 people living in Lordstown. These people lived in 1,391 different homes. The average age of people in the village was 45 years old. About 21% of the residents were under 18 years old.
Economy and Jobs
Lordstown is well-known for its factories and businesses. It has been an important place for jobs in the Mahoning Valley region.
Car Manufacturing History
For many years, Lordstown was home to the Lordstown Assembly plant. This was a huge General Motors (GM) factory that made compact cars. It operated from 1966 until 2019. After steel factories closed in nearby Youngstown, the Lordstown Assembly became the biggest industrial employer in the area.
In 2019, a company called Lordstown Motors bought the factory. They planned to make electric vehicles there. Later, in 2022, the factory was sold to Foxconn, another big company, which continues to make electric vehicles.
Battery Production
GM and LG Chem also built a large factory in Lordstown called Ultium Cells LLC. This factory started making electric car batteries in August 2022. These batteries are a key part of new electric vehicles.
Other Businesses
Besides car and battery manufacturing, Lordstown also has other businesses. For example, a TJX HomeGoods distribution center is located here. There are also several smaller manufacturing companies in the village.
Schools and Library
Lordstown has its own school system, called the Lordstown Local School District. It includes one elementary school and Lordstown High School.
The village also has a public library. It is a branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library system.
