Lorenza Francesca Izzo Parsons (born September 19, 1989) is a talented actress and model from Chile. She has appeared in several movies, including Aftershock (2012), The Green Inferno (2013), Knock Knock (2015), and the famous director Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).

Early Life and Moving to the United States
Lorenza Izzo was born in Santiago, Chile. Her mother, Rosita Parsons, is a well-known model. Lorenza also has Italian family roots from her father's side. She has a younger sister, Clara Lyon Parsons, who is also a model.
When Lorenza was 12 years old, she moved to Atlanta, USA, with her father. He was studying for his Ph.D. at the Georgia Institute of Technology. At first, Lorenza faced some challenges because of her strong Chilean accent. However, she quickly learned to speak English without an accent. She said watching the 2002 sports movie Blue Crush many times helped her. She became a big fan of the movie's star, Kate Bosworth.
Her Journey in Acting and Modeling
Starting Her Career
In 2007, Lorenza was studying journalism at the University of the Andes in Chile while also working as a model. She then moved to New York City to study acting. She attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, a famous acting school.
Her first acting role was in 2010. She appeared in an independent film called Instrucciones para mi funeral (which means Instructions for my Funeral). This movie was a graduation project for a director named Sebastián Radic.
Becoming a Fashion Model
Lorenza's modeling career became very successful in 2011. She and her mother were invited to São Paulo Fashion Week, a big fashion event. There, they met the famous supermodel Gisele Bundchen. This meeting led to Lorenza becoming the new face of Colcci, a popular Brazilian fashion company.
That same year, Lorenza also acted in a comedy film from Chile. It was called Que pena tu boda

By 2012, Lorenza had already been in one feature film and had three more movies coming out. These included Que pena tu familia (What a Pity About Your Family), Aftershock, and The Green Inferno. The Green Inferno was directed by Eli Roth, who she would later marry.
After these films, Lorenza moved to Los Angeles. She quickly got small roles in the TV series Hemlock Grove and a TV pilot called I Am Victor.
In 2015, Lorenza starred alongside famous actors Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas in the movie Knock Knock. This was her second horror film directed by Eli Roth. It was filmed in Santiago, Chile.
A big moment in her career came in 2019. Lorenza played Francesca Capucci in Quentin Tarantino's movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Her character was the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio's character. Francesca Capucci was inspired by famous Italian actresses from the 1960s, like Sophia Loren.
Personal Life
On November 8, 2014, Lorenza Izzo married American actor and director Eli Roth. Their wedding took place on a beach in Zapallar, Chile. They met through a friend, director Nicolás López, while working on the movie Aftershock in 2012. Eli Roth didn't know Lorenza could speak English at first, and she had a small role in the film. When he found out she spoke English fluently, he cast her in the main role. They spent a lot of time together during filming, and their relationship began. They later divorced in August 2019.
In 2023, Lorenza Izzo married writer and director Sophie Tabet.
