Loyal is a small city in Clark County, Wisconsin. It is located in the United States. In 2010, about 1,261 people lived there. Even though it's inside the Town of Loyal, the city runs its own government.
The city got its name in the 1860s. Many brave people from the area went to fight in the American Civil War. They were very "loyal" to their country. A store opened here in 1870. The town was officially planned out in 1885. It became a village in 1893 and then a city in 1948.
