Lulu's Journey to Music

Lulu was born in Tanzania, a country in Africa. Her family comes from the Maasai people, a famous tribe. When she was six years old, she moved to the United Kingdom. She grew up in a town called South Shields in England.

Lulu loved music from a young age. She took a special music course where she met DomZilla. He became her main producer and helped her write many songs.

Her Music Career

In 2012, Lulu released her first collection of songs, called an EP, named Rope Mirage. Soon after, she signed with a record company called Black Butter Records. They released her first official songs, "Be Safe" and "Stuck."

Lulu went on tour around the UK in late 2012. She performed with other artists from her record label. By early 2013, she signed with another big record company, RCA Records. She then released her single "Closer."

Later in 2013, her song "Sweetest Thing" came out. Lulu also got to tour with famous singers like Ellie Goulding. In 2014, she released "Beautiful People." She even sang with the house music duo Gorgon City on their UK tour in 2015.

Lulu gets her musical ideas from many amazing artists. Some of her inspirations include India.Arie, Beyoncé, James Blake, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson.
