From 1992 to 1996, Lyla Pinch Brock also worked on clearing and preserving KV55. This is a famous tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

In 1993, while digging in the tomb, she made an interesting discovery. She found an ostracon. An ostracon is a piece of pottery or stone used for writing or drawing. This one had part of the tomb's original plan painted on it. She also found other ancient objects. The pottery from this important work has recently been shared with the public.
