Community and Culture
In the past, especially from the mid-1900s to the early 2000s, Lyncourt was a popular place for Italian American families to move. Many families wanted to live in the suburbs. This led to Lyncourt becoming one of the areas with the most Italian American residents in the country.
Even today, the Italian culture is very important in Lyncourt. More than 3% of the people living here speak both Italian and English. This is much higher than in most other parts of the United States. Many families still follow their traditional customs and practices.
