MBC Group is a big media company from Saudi Arabia. It's like a giant TV and radio network for the Middle East and North Africa region. It used to be called the Middle East Broadcasting Center. MBC Group started in London in 1991. Later, it moved its main office to Dubai in 2002. In 2022, it moved again to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
MBC Group runs more than 19 free TV channels. These channels are available through satellites. They also have a popular online video service called Shahid. MBC 1 was the first channel to offer free TV across the Arab world 24 hours a day. The company has over 2,000 people working for it. In 2011, MBC reported that it had 165 million viewers.
The company is mostly owned by Istedamah Holding Company. The rest belongs to its founder, Waleed bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim. In 2023, MBC Group offered its shares to the public for the first time. This was a big step for the company's future growth.

MBC's TV Channels and Services
MBC Group offers many different TV channels. Most of these channels are free to watch. Some special channels, like the HD (high-definition) versions, require a payment. These paid channels are available through services like OSN and STC TV.
MBC 1: Family Fun Channel

In 2011, MBC launched 7 of its channels in HD (High-definition). These included MBC 1, MBC 2, MBC 3, MBC 4, MBC Action, MBC Max, and MBC Drama.
In 2017, Snapchat added content from MBC to its "Discover" feature. This allowed more people to see MBC's shows.
