Mackenzie Christine Foy (born November 10, 2000) is an American actress and model. She is famous for playing Renesmee Cullen in the 2012 movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. This role earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award.
She also played the younger version of the character Murph in the science-fiction movie Interstellar (2014). For her performance, she won a Saturn Award. Later, she starred as Clara in Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (2018) and appeared in the Disney+ movie Black Beauty (2020).

Mackenzie Foy was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up there. Her parents were not involved in the movie business. Her father was a truck driver and her mother was a homemaker.
Foy began her career very young. She started modeling when she was only three years old and began acting at age eight. Besides acting and modeling, Mackenzie is also skilled in Taekwondo, a Korean martial art.

Modeling and Early Acting
Foy's career started in 2004 with modeling for print ads. She worked with famous brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Guess, and Gap. She also modeled for The Walt Disney Company and Mattel.
When she was eight, she started acting in TV shows. She had small roles in shows like 'Til Death, FlashForward, and Hawaii Five-0.
Breakthrough with 'The Twilight Saga'
In 2010, Foy got her big break. She was cast as Renesmee Cullen in the movie adaptations of the popular book series, The Twilight Saga. Renesmee is the daughter of the main characters, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
She appeared in two films in the series: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012). Her role in the second film made her well-known to audiences around the world.

Success in Film
