Starting with the Las Vegas Raiders
After the 2020 NFL draft, Madre Harper signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. This happened on May 5, 2020. He was an undrafted free agent, meaning no team picked him in the draft.
He was first part of the team's practice squad. A practice squad is where players train with the team. They can be called up to play in real games if needed. Harper was briefly moved to the main roster for a game. However, he did not play in that game.

On October 1, 2020, Harper joined the New York Giants. He signed directly to their active roster. This meant he was part of the main team right away.
During his time with the Giants, he was placed on injured reserve. This happens when a player gets hurt and cannot play. He later recovered and was activated again. He signed a contract extension with the Giants in January 2021. However, he was released by the team in August 2021.
Back with the Raiders and Panthers
After leaving the Giants, Harper returned to the Las Vegas Raiders. He signed with their practice squad on September 2, 2021. But he was released just a few weeks later.
Then, on September 28, 2021, Harper joined the Carolina Panthers. He signed with their practice squad. He later signed a special contract with the Panthers for the next season. He was waived by the Panthers in August 2022. He then rejoined their practice squad.
Playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers
On January 11, 2023, Madre Harper signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He signed a reserve/future contract. This type of contract means a player is signed for the next season. However, he was released by the Steelers in August 2023.
