Things to Do at the Park

Magnolia Park offers many exciting activities for visitors of all ages. You can have a picnic with your family at one of the many picnic tables. There are also playgrounds where younger kids can have a blast.

If you love sports, you'll find volleyball courts, basketball courts, and baseball fields ready for a game. For those who enjoy being on the water, there's a boat ramp that leads right into Lake Apopka.

Camping Adventures

Want to stay overnight? Magnolia Park has 18 campsites where you can bring your RV or set up a tent. There are also 2 larger group campsites, perfect for bigger gatherings like scout troops or family reunions.

Explore the Trails

The park is also a starting point for the Lake Apopka Loop Trail. A special entrance, called a trailhead, is located on the northwest side of the park. From here, you can walk or bike along the beautiful trail and explore more of the area around Lake Apopka.

Amazing Wildlife

Magnolia Park is home to many interesting animals. You might spot about a dozen Peacocks roaming freely. These colorful birds are beautiful, but sometimes they can be a bit bold, so it's good to give them some space.

Don't be surprised if you spot an American Alligator in the water or near the shore, as they live in the lake. Many other animals also call this park home, making every visit an exciting wildlife adventure!
