Magueyes Urbano is a special area, or barrio, in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. It's one of 31 barrios in Ponce.
Magueyes Urbano was once a rural area. But now, it's part of the city! It's one of five barrios that changed from country to city areas. The name "Magueyes" comes from a native Indian word. This barrio was officially created in 1953.

Where is Magueyes Urbano?
Magueyes Urbano is located in the southern part of Ponce, Puerto Rico. It's inside the city limits. You can find it northwest of the main city center, which is called Plaza Las Delicias.
What are the boundaries?
Magueyes Urbano has clear borders.
- To the North: J. J. Cartagena Street, Ruth Fernandez Boulevard, and Camino de Ponce Road.
- To the South: PR-123, Ausencia Street, and La Gloria Street.
- To the West: Hills near PR-123.
- To the East: Novedades Street and hills near the old Ponce Cement plant.
It also borders other barrios:
- North: Magueyes
- South: Canas Urbano
- West: Canas
- East: Portugués Urbano
The community of Las Delicias is also found within Magueyes Urbano.

Magueyes Urbano covers about 1.2 square miles of land. It doesn't have any water areas.
In 2010, about 1,132 people lived in Magueyes Urbano. This means there were about 912 people for every square mile.
The main roads that go through Magueyes Urbano are PR-123 and PR-9.

Magueyes Urbano is home to some interesting landmarks:
- The former Ponce Cement plant: This was a big factory that made cement. It's now owned by a company called CEMEX.
