Malcolm Roach (born June 9, 1998) is an American professional football player. He plays as a defensive tackle for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Texas Longhorns.

Growing Up and High School Football
Malcolm Roach was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His parents are Nancy and Mike Roach. Malcolm played football at Madison Prep Academy. His own father was his coach there! He was chosen as an all-state player four times, which is a big achievement.
College Football Career at Texas
Malcolm played for the Texas Longhorns college team for four seasons. He was a strong player on defense. During his time in college, he made 134 tackles. He also had 22.5 tackles for loss and 8.0 sacks. These stats show he was very good at stopping opposing teams.
Joining the NFL: Professional Career
Malcolm Roach started his professional football journey in 2020. He was not chosen by a team in the NFL draft. This means he became an undrafted free agent. Teams could sign him directly after the draft.
Playing for the New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints signed Malcolm Roach on April 27, 2020. He worked hard and made the team after training camp. His first NFL game was on September 13, 2020. It was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
