Mansfield Park is a famous novel written by Jane Austen. It was first published in 1814. This book is Jane Austen's third published novel.

The story follows a young girl named Fanny Price. She is sent to live with her rich aunt and uncle when she is ten years old. The book shows her growing up into a young woman.

  • 1983: A BBC TV series. It starred Sylvestra Le Touzel as Fanny Price.
  • 1999: A film directed by Patricia Rozema. Frances O'Connor played Fanny Price. This film changed some parts of the story. It also showed Jane Austen's dislike of slavery.
  • 2007: Another TV adaptation by Company Pictures. Billie Piper played Fanny Price.

  • 1997: A BBC Radio 4 adaptation. Amanda Root was the voice of Fanny.
