Early Life and Education
Marc Menchaca's father is Mexican, and his mother is American. He first became interested in acting when he was a student at Central High School. After high school, he went to Texas A&M University. There, he earned a bachelor's degree in English and acted in his very first play.
Later, Marc attended a summer acting program in Manhattan at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. He then decided to become a professional actor in his twenties. He also studied at the William Esper Studio, which is a well-known acting school.

Early Film Work
In 2013, Marc was involved in the movie This Is Where We Live. He helped direct it, wrote part of the script, and played the main character. This film was shown at the Heartland Film Festival.
In 2015, he starred in the film Reparation. He played Bob Stevens, a veteran who was dealing with memory loss. For this role, Marc won the Best Actor award at the Breckenridge Film Festival. The movie itself won many other awards at different film festivals, including the Audience Choice prize at the Austin Film Festival.
Television Roles
Marc Menchaca has appeared in several popular TV shows. In 2018, he had a recurring role as Russ Langmore in the Netflix series Ozark. He also had regular roles in The Sinner and Manifest.
In 2019, Marc worked with actor Jason Bateman again in the horror miniseries The Outsider. This show was based on a book by Stephen King. Marc played the character Jack Hoskins in all 10 episodes of the series.
Recent Film Successes
In 2020, Marc won another Best Actor award at the Mammoth Film Festival Awards. This was for his performance as Sam in the thriller movie Alone. He even did his own stunts in the film, including a fight scene. In the same year, he received another Best Actor award at the Oxford International Film Festival in the UK for his role as 'The Man' in the movie #Like.
In 2021, Marc starred in the Netflix horror movie No One Gets Out Alive. He also appeared in The Retaliators and Playing God. His career continues to grow with new projects each year.

Marc Menchaca married British actress Lena Headey on October 6, 2022. Their wedding took place in Apulia, Italy.
