Marcel McCalla (born in February 1981) is a British actor. He has appeared in many plays and TV shows. You might know him from Grange Hill or Footballers' Wives. He was in Grange Hill for five seasons. He also appeared in Footballers' Wives for two seasons.

Acting on Stage: Theatre Roles
Marcel McCalla started acting when he was 14 years old. His first role was in the play Oliver! in 1995.
Early Theatre Work
He acted in two plays by Roy Williams. He played Emile in Fallout in 2003. Then he was Kev in Little Sweet Thing in 2005. Also in 2005, he played Casey Motsisi in Who Killed Mr Drum?.
Later Theatre Performances
In 2006, Marcel played Andre in Tanika Gupta's play Sugar Mummies. He also played a patient in Joe Penhall's play Blue/Orange. In 2008, he was Jimmy in A Taste of Honey. This play was shown at the Royal Exchange, Manchester. In 2010, he starred as Slim in Rum and Coca-Cola. This play was written by Mustapha Matura.

Marcel McCalla has been in many TV shows. These include Grange Hill, The Bill, and Trexx and Flipside. He also appeared in a short film called Attack in 2005. This film was part of the BBC Film Network.
Voice Acting for Children's Shows
Marcel is also known for his voice acting. He voiced Freezbone in the children's cartoon Freefonix. He also voiced Gomez in Matt Hatter Chronicles. In 2011, he was the voice of Ongo in Jelly Jamm. From 2015, he voiced Roley the road roller. This was for the UK version of the Bob the Builder cartoon. From 2015 until now, Marcel has been the voice of Asher in Chuggington.

From 2017 to 2021, Marcel voiced many characters in Numberblocks. These characters included Two, Four, Eight, and Thirteen. He also voiced Twenty, Twenty-Three, and Twenty-Six. Other voices he did were Twenty-Nine, Forty, Fifty-Five, Eighty, and Two Hundred.
