The Lingo Show is a fun British animated TV series. It was made for young children aged 12-15 by Nicole Seymour. The show was produced by the BBC and animated by Dinamo Productions. You could watch it on BBC's CBeebies channel.
The show uses a mix of animation and real-life video. Its main goal is to help young kids learn new languages. The characters and many parts of the show were designed by Kate Sullivan. The Lingo Show had two seasons with 30 episodes in total. It first aired between 2012 and 2013 and was repeated until 2018.
What the Show Is About
The series follows a friendly bug named Lingo. He is the host of a special "Big Bug Show." Lingo has a family of bugs, and each one knows a different language.
Kids ask Lingo to put on a show. So, he travels around the world with one of his bug performers. In each episode, the chosen bug searches for items needed for their show. They teach the audience the names of these items in their language. After finding everything, they bring the props back to Lingo. Then, they perform the "Big Bug Show" for happy children.
