Marcus Keith Randall (born March 14, 1982) is an American former professional football player. He played as a quarterback for the LSU college team. Later, he played for the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL).

Marcus Randall's College Football Journey
Starting at LSU
Marcus Randall grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He went to Glen Oaks High School there. After high school, he joined the LSU college football team. His older brother, Eric Randall, was also a famous quarterback. Eric led Southern University to a national championship in 1995.
Key Moments at LSU
In 2002, Marcus became LSU's starting quarterback. This happened halfway through the season. The original starter, Matt Mauck, had a broken foot. In 2003, Marcus played less. He was a backup to Matt Mauck. That year, LSU won the BCS National Championship.
In 2004, Marcus started most of LSU's games. He shared playing time with a younger player, JaMarcus Russell. During his time at LSU, Marcus Randall threw for 2,845 yards. He also scored 18 touchdowns.
The "Bluegrass Miracle"
One of Marcus Randall's most famous plays was in 2002. He threw a game-winning touchdown pass against the Kentucky team. This play is now known as the "Bluegrass Miracle". It was a very exciting moment for LSU fans.
Marcus Randall's Professional Football Career
Playing in the NFL
After college, Marcus Randall was not chosen in the 2005 NFL draft. However, he still got a chance to play professionally. He signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. The Titans changed his position. He first played as a safety. Later, he became a linebacker.
Marcus played in the last three games of the 2005 season for the Titans. He made three tackles during these games. The Titans released him from their team in September 2006.
In February 2007, the Green Bay Packers signed Marcus. But they released him a few months later, in June 2007.
Playing in the AAFL
In 2008, Marcus Randall was chosen in the first-ever AAFL draft. The AAFL was a new football league. He was picked by the Arkansas team to play as a quarterback.
