Marengo is a small village located in Morrow County, Ohio, in the United States. It's a quiet community with a population of 283 people as of the 2020 census. Marengo is situated south of Mount Gilead, which is the main town of Morrow County.
History of Marengo
Marengo was officially planned out and marked on a map in 1873. However, people had already been living there since the 1840s. A post office, where people could send and receive mail, was set up in Marengo in 1848. This helped the community grow and connect with other places.
