Cool Kart Features
In Mario Kart 7, your kart can do more than just drive. You can now use a hang-glider to fly through the air. This helps you glide over gaps and find shortcuts. Your kart can also drive underwater. This opens up new parts of the race tracks.
You can also make your kart unique. Players can choose different frames, wheels, and gliders. This lets you build a kart that fits your racing style.
New Characters to Play As
Mario Kart 7 adds some new faces to the racing lineup. You can play as Metal Mario, a shiny version of Mario. Lakitu, who usually holds the traffic light, is now a racer. Wiggler, the caterpillar from the Mario games, also joins the fun. Honey Queen, a character from Super Mario Galaxy, is another new playable character.
