Mark Guy was born on January 28, 1964. He is an American former professional football player. He played as a wide receiver, which means he was a player who caught passes. Mark Guy played for three seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was part of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders teams. He also played college football at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Later, he joined the Detroit Drive in the Arena Football League (AFL).

In March 1989, Mark Guy joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played in seven games during the 1989 season. He caught seven passes for 144 yards. He also scored one touchdown.

A big moment came on November 26, 1989. Mark Guy had four catches for 100 yards in the 77th Grey Cup game. The Roughriders won this championship game 43-40 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. This was a huge victory for the team!

In 1990, Mark Guy played in twelve games for the Roughriders. He caught 29 passes for 328 yards. He also scored two touchdowns that season. After the 1990 season, he left the team.

Calgary Stampeders

Mark Guy then signed with the Calgary Stampeders in June 1991. He played in seven games for them during the 1991 season. He caught 16 passes for 264 yards. He also scored one touchdown.

Besides catching passes, he was also good at punt returns. He returned 29 punts for a total of 401 yards.
