Marla Ann Maples (born October 27, 1963) is an American singer, television personality, model, actress, and presenter. She was the second wife of Donald Trump, who later became the U.S. president. They got married in 1993, two months after their daughter, Tiffany, was born. Marla and Donald separated in 1997 and officially divorced in 1999.

Early Life and Education
Marla Maples was born on October 27, 1963, in Cohutta, Georgia. Her mother, Ann Locklear Maples, was a homemaker and model. Her father, Stanley Edward Maples, was a person who developed and sold properties, a county commissioner, a singer, and a songwriter. Marla also has a half-sister from her father's earlier marriage.
Marla went to Northwest Whitfield High School in Tunnel Hill, Georgia. While there, she played basketball and was the class secretary. In her senior year, she was chosen as the 1980–1981 homecoming queen.
After finishing high school in 1981, Marla took part in many beauty contests. In 1983, she won the Miss Resaca Beach contest. The next year, in 1984, she was the runner-up for Miss Georgia USA. In 1985, she won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic title. She started college at the University of Georgia in 1981 but left before she finished her degree.

Acting and TV Shows
In 1991, Marla Maples appeared as a special guest at WWF WrestleMania VII. She was the special guest timekeeper for the main wrestling match. That same year, she also appeared as herself in the TV show Designing Women. In 1992, Marla joined the cast of the Broadway musical The Will Rogers Follies.
In 1994, Marla appeared with her then-husband, Donald Trump, in a small role on the TV show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She also appeared in the TV series Something Wilder that year.
Marla co-hosted the Miss Universe Pageant in 1996 and 1997. She also co-hosted the Miss USA Pageant in 1997. Both of these pageants were owned by her husband at the time.
Marla has acted in several movies, including Maximum Overdrive (1986), Executive Decision (1996), For Richer or Poorer (1997), and Happiness (1998). She also appeared in Richie Rich's Christmas Wish (1998) and A Nanny for Christmas (2010).
In 2016, Marla Maples was a contestant on season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. She danced with professional dancer Tony Dovolani. They were eliminated in Week 4 and finished in 10th place. Marla also appeared as a guest co-host on the morning talk show The View in March 2016.

Marla and Donald Trump had one child together, a daughter named Tiffany Trump, who was born on October 13, 1993. They got married on December 20, 1993, at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Many guests attended their wedding.
Marla and Donald Trump separated in May 1997 and divorced on June 8, 1999.
