Maryna Linchuk grew up in Minsk, which is the capital city of Belarus. She was raised by her mother. Later, her mother remarried, and they moved to a new home.

Maryna Linchuk was discovered by a modeling agency when she was 12 years old. She visited modeling agencies in Paris and London. At first, it was a bit hard for her to get used to modeling.
After about a year, she decided to try modeling again. She went to Japan, where she found the work environment helpful. She stayed in Japan for a few years and really started to enjoy modeling. After returning home for a year, she moved to New York City. In 2006, she signed with DNA Models, a top modeling agency in New York.
