Mathew St. Patrick (born March 17, 1969) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Keith Charles in the TV show Six Feet Under from 2001 to 2005. Before that, he acted in soap operas like General Hospital and All My Children. Mathew St. Patrick also played Detective Kenneth Marjorino in the series Reunion. He has appeared in movies such as War and Alien Raiders.

Early Life and Education
Mathew St. Patrick was born and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father, Curtis St. Patrick, was a hot dog seller, and his mother, Brenda, was a school teacher. He went to Olney High School and was on the track team. He graduated in 1986 from Scotland School for Veterans' Children in Scotland, Pennsylvania. This school was for children of military veterans.
After high school, Mathew lived in New York and then in the Chicago, Illinois area for eight years. During this time, he had many different jobs. He worked as a delivery salesman for Coca-Cola, at UPS, and as a furniture delivery driver. He also drove a large truck for Quikrete and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.
Starting an Acting Career
In 1994, Mathew St. Patrick moved to Los Angeles, California to start acting. First, he worked as a personal trainer. In 1996, he joined a group called the West Coast Theater Ensemble. After acting in his first play, Full Court Press, an agent noticed him. This led to his first movie role in Steel Sharks (1997), where he played a Navy serviceman.
Roles in Soap Operas
In 1997, Mathew was cast as Detective Marcus Taggert in the soap opera General Hospital. He took over the role from another actor, but his time as Marcus was short. He later joined another soap opera, All My Children, as police lieutenant Adrian Sword. He was on this show until 2000. For his acting as Adrian, Mathew St. Patrick was nominated for two NAACP Image Awards in 1999 and 2000. These awards recognize achievements by people of color in entertainment.
Television and Film Success
Mathew St. Patrick also made guest appearances on popular TV shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, Diagnosis: Murder, NYPD Blue, and Crossing Jordan.
His most famous role was Keith Charles in the HBO series Six Feet Under, which started in 2001. He played Keith until the show ended in 2005. Mathew and his Six Feet Under castmates were nominated five times for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. They won this award in 2002 and 2003.
After Six Feet Under, Mathew St. Patrick starred as Detective Marjorino in the Fox drama series Reunion from 2005 to 2006. He also played an FBI agent in the movie War (2007) and Seth in the science fiction horror film Alien Raiders (2008).
Voice Acting and Later Roles
Mathew St. Patrick has also done voice work. He voiced an EMT in a skit on Eminem's album Relapse (2009). He was the first voice for the character Skulker on the cartoon Danny Phantom (2004). He also lent his voice to the preschool series Higglytown Heroes (2005−06).
After Six Feet Under, many of Mathew's TV roles were smaller parts. He appeared in the pilot episode of NCIS: Los Angeles (2013). He also guest-starred on shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2006), Private Practice (2009), and Hawaii Five-0 (2017). Mathew St. Patrick had a recurring role as Moses Cartwright in the final season of the drama Sons of Anarchy (2014).

Mathew St. Patrick has a son. He also reads the Bible regularly.
