Higglytown Heroes is an American computer-animated TV show for kids. It was made by Wild Brain and Happy Nest Company. The show first aired on the Playhouse Disney block on Disney Channel in the United States.
The characters in the show look like Russian nesting dolls. The story follows four children: Wayne, Eubie, Twinkle, and Kip. They learn about the many important jobs people do in their town, Higglytown. The series has 65 episodes.
The main song of the show, "Here in Higglytown," is sung by the band They Might Be Giants. This song was also on their children's album Here Come the ABCs. The show used special computer programs like Alias Maya for character design. Photoshop was used to create the backgrounds and props.

What is the Higglytown Heroes Show About?
Higglytown Heroes teaches kids about different jobs and how people help each other. In each episode, the main characters face a problem. They then realize they need a "Higglytown Hero" to solve it. This hero is someone with a special job.
How the Hero Song Works
Every episode has two songs. The first song explains the problem the kids are facing. The second song is the "I'm a Higgly Town Hero" song. This song introduces the hero who helps solve the problem.
The main hero song has the same tune each time. However, the words and instruments change to fit the hero of that episode. Kent Redeker, one of the show's producers, wrote the words for the first "Hero" song. Mark Harrison composed and produced the music for it.
The show was also shown in the UK, starting in 2005. Some of the voices for the characters were changed for the UK version. For example, Fran was voiced by Sue Johnston.
