Gwendoline See-Hian Yeo (born July 10, 1977) is a talented actress from Singapore who works in the United States. She is known for acting in popular TV shows and movies, and for being a voice actress in many animated series and video games.
When she was a child, Gwendoline moved from Singapore to California. She started her acting career in TV comedies like Grounded for Life. You might know her as Dr. Kelly Lee on General Hospital, Xiao-Mei on Desperate Housewives, or as the voice of many famous characters.

Early Life and Education
Gwendoline Yeo was born in Singapore. When she was eleven years old, she moved to California. She was a very bright student and graduated with top honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1997. Besides her acting talents, she is also a skilled musician and earned a diploma in classical piano.
Before she became a famous actress, Yeo won the Miss Asian America pageant in 1995. She also won the Miss Chinatown USA title for 1998–99.
Her uncle is George Yeo, a well-known former politician in Singapore who served as the country's Minister for Foreign Affairs.

One of Yeo's most important roles was in the award-winning Western movie Broken Trail. She acted alongside famous actor Robert Duvall. She played Sun Fu, a young Chinese woman in the 1800s who was sold and forced into a difficult life. Duvall personally chose her for the part, and her performance was highly praised by critics.
She also played Dr. Samantha Yep in the movie The Jane Austen Book Club and had roles in other films like Night Skies and The Magic of Ordinary Days.
