Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (also known as Rise of the TMNT) is an American animated TV show. It is based on the famous ninja team, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The show first aired on September 17, 2018, with a special preview on July 20.

This version of the Turtles takes them on exciting new adventures. They discover and use special ninja powers. They also explore the secret, magical parts of New York City. Nickelodeon decided to make a second season of the show even before the first one officially started.

What the Show is About

Deep under New York City, four mutant turtle brothers live. Their names are Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. They are teenagers who go on many fun and dangerous adventures.

They learn to use their special ninja powers. They also learn to work together as a team. The brothers explore the modern world and hidden magical places. They get cool new looks, weapons, and powers. And, of course, they always find time for their favorite pizza!

Season One Adventures

In the first season, the turtle brothers meet an evil alchemist named Baron Draxum. They also face the dangerous Foot Clan. The Turtles learn a big secret about their sensei, Master Splinter. He used to be a famous martial arts expert and movie star named Lou Jitsu.

The Foot Clan and Baron Draxum try to bring back a powerful demon called the Shredder. The Shredder was banished long ago by Splinter's ancestors. The Turtles must collect pieces of an ancient dark armor to stop them.

Season Two Challenges

In the second season, the brothers face new and old enemies. The most important enemy is the evil Shredder himself. The Turtles must stop him from destroying all of New York City.
