Eric Bauza (born December 7, 1979) is a talented voice actor from Canada. He is famous for bringing many beloved cartoon characters to life. Eric is especially known for voicing several Looney Tunes characters. He has won three Emmy Awards for his amazing work. These awards were for his roles in Looney Tunes Cartoons (from 2020 to 2024), Bugs Bunny Builders (which started in 2022), and Teen Titans Go! (in 2024). He also voiced Puss in Boots in The Adventures of Puss in Boots (2015–2018). Another well-known role is Baby Fozzie in Muppet Babies (2018–2022).

Eric's Early Life and Inspiration

Eric Bauza was born in Scarborough, a part of Toronto, Canada, on December 7, 1979. His family comes from the Philippines. Eric's father and grandfather loved watching classic cartoons, especially Looney Tunes.

Growing up, Eric was inspired by a show called Mr. Dressup. He would draw along with the host of the show. This helped him discover his creative side early on. He went to Cardinal Newman Catholic High School in Scarborough from 1993 to 1996. Later, he graduated from Centennial College in 2000.

Eric's Voice Acting Career

Eric Bauza began his career in animation as an intern at Spümcø. This was during his third year of college. He then became a production assistant. His first voice acting role was on a show called The Ripping Friends.

A big moment in his career was when he took over the voice of Stimpy in the Ren & Stimpy show. After that, Eric voiced characters in many other cartoons. These include El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, The Fairly OddParents, and Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island!. He also voiced characters in G.I. Joe: Resolute and Hero: 108.

Eric has played many roles in different shows. He was Lord Stingray in the Adult Swim series Superjail!. He also voiced Marvin the Martian in The Looney Tunes Show. In Ben 10: Omniverse, he was the voice of Dr. Psychobos. Eric also voiced the main bad guy, Lord Takagami, in Dick Figures: The Movie. He played Buhdeuce in Breadwinners. He was also the main character, Puss in Boots, in the Netflix series The Adventures of Puss in Boots.

Eric Bauza is known for voicing many famous Looney Tunes characters. These include Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety, and Marvin the Martian. He also voices Woody Woodpecker. In 2022, Eric won the first-ever Children's and Family Emmy Award. This was for his outstanding voice performance in Looney Tunes Cartoons. He also voiced Rash in the 2020 video game version of Battletoads.

In March 2021, Eric appeared on the ABC game show To Tell the Truth. He showed off his different Looney Tunes voices there. In 2022, he hosted a six-part documentary series called Stay Tooned. This show explored how cartoons have impacted culture. It was shown on CBC Gem.

In 2023, Eric became the new voice of Buster Bunny in the show Tiny Toons Looniversity. He also started voicing Jimmy Pesto and Robert "Big Bob" Belcher Sr. on Bob's Burgers.
