Rolf Peter Ingvar Stormare (born August 27, 1953) is a Swedish actor famous for playing a wide variety of characters. You might know him as the silent bad guy Gaear Grimsrud in the movie Fargo or as the mob boss John Abruzzi in the TV show Prison Break.
He has appeared in many popular movies, including The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Armageddon, Minority Report, and Constantine. He is also a voice actor in video games like Destiny and Until Dawn.

Early Life and Name Change
Peter Stormare was born Rolf Peter Ingvar Storm in Kumla, Sweden. When he was a baby, his family moved to a town called Arbrå. He studied acting at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, a very famous acting school.
While at the school, he discovered another student had the same last name, Storm. To avoid confusion, he decided to change his name. He first thought about "Retep Mrots," which is "Peter Storm" spelled backward, but then he chose Stormare. In Swedish, Stormare means "stormer," which is a powerful and memorable name for an actor.
