Mauritanian Association for Human Rights facts for kids
The Mauritanian Association for Human Rights (AMDH) is a group in Mauritania that works to protect people's human rights. It's a special kind of organization called a NGO, which means it's not part of the government. AMDH started in 1991. Its main job is to watch out for times when human rights are not respected and to help those affected. Fatimata M’baye is one of the people who started it, and she is also its president.
