Mega Man is a super popular video game series. The very first game, also called Mega Man, was made by Capcom. It came out in Japan on December 17, 1987. In Japan, it's known as Rockman (ロックマン, Rokkuman). This game started the whole original Mega Man adventure on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was released in North America in December 1987 and in Europe in May 1990.
Story of Mega Man
The game's story begins with two brilliant scientists. They are Dr. Light and Dr. Wily. They created many amazing humanoid robots. But Dr. Wily decided to turn bad. He reprogrammed most of these robots. His goal was to take over the world!
Now, it's up to Mega Man to stop him. Mega Man is a special robot created by Dr. Light. He must face Dr. Wily and his powerful army of Robot Masters.
How to Play Mega Man
The game starts with a special screen. Here, you can choose which Robot Master you want to fight first. There are six main Robot Masters to pick from. Each one has its own unique stage.
Once you choose a Robot Master, Dr. Light teleports you. You arrive near the Robot Master's secret hideout. Your mission is to find your way through the level. You will face many challenges like traps, dangerous pits, and other enemy robots.
When you finally defeat a Robot Master, you gain its special power. This new power can be used against other Robot Masters. Think of it like a game of Rock, paper, scissors. Some powers work really well against certain Robot Masters, while others might not be as effective. Finding the right power for each boss is key to winning!
