Club Career Highlights

Megumi Takase was born in Kitami, Japan. She started her professional football journey in 2009. After finishing high school, she joined the team INAC Kobe Leonessa.

In her first year, the 2009 season, she was named the Best Young Player. This award showed how talented she was from the start. In 2012, Megumi had an amazing season. She scored 20 goals in just 18 games. This made her the top scorer in the league. She also won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award that year.

Megumi has played many games for INAC Kobe Leonessa. She has scored over 100 goals for her club.

Playing for Japan

Megumi Takase first played for the Japan national team on January 15, 2010. Her first game was against Chile.

Later that year, she joined the Japan U-20 national team. She played in the 2010 U-20 World Cup.

Megumi was part of the Japan squad that won the 2011 World Cup. This was a huge win for Japan! She also helped her country win a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
