History of Menlo
Menlo was founded in the 1880s. It was first built along the Union Pacific Railroad. Over time, the train tracks were moved to a different location. The original tracks through Menlo were removed.
A post office opened in Menlo in 1888. This office served the community for many years. It closed down in 1992.
