Mercedes-Benz World is an exciting place in Weybridge, Surrey, UK. It's built on the famous old Brooklands motor racing track. This cool center is owned by the Mercedes-Benz Group. It first opened its doors in October 2006. Since then, more than 3 million people have come to visit!

Fun Activities at Mercedes-Benz World
Visitors to Mercedes-Benz World can book time to drive on the tracks. You can try out the powerful AMG cars. This helps you understand how car technology makes driving safer and better. There are courses to learn advanced driving skills. You can also try out an AMG car.
Driving Courses for Everyone
The driving courses are made for all ages and skill levels. This means whether you're driving for the first time or have lots of race experience, there's a course for you. Famous drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have driven here. Other champions include John Surtees, Stirling Moss, Bernd Schneider, Jenson Button, and Mika Häkkinen. A team of expert driving coaches is always on site. They have experience in every part of driving.
World Record Drift
On June 19, 2011, a driver named Mauro Calo set a world record here. He broke the world drift record! He drifted an unmodified Mercedes C63 AMG for 2308 meters. Officials from Guinness World Records were there to confirm it.
AMG Driving Academy
Since 2015, the AMG Driving Academy has offered basic training at Mercedes-Benz World. AMG is Mercedes-Benz's high-performance division. This is the only place in the world where you can take this course any day of the year. Plus, you get one-on-one coaching!
Driving for Young People
If you are tall enough (1.5 meters), you can drive a car at Mercedes-Benz World. You get to drive on parts of the original Brooklands Circuit. There are courses that let beginners learn to drive. You can even work your way up to driving a top supercar on the tracks!
Driving Facilities
The facilities include two high-performance handling tracks. There are also simulated ice surfaces and a skid pan. You can practice high-speed braking. There's a 4x4 course and special areas for beginners and young drivers.
Where is Mercedes-Benz World?
The center is easy to find, near Junctions 10 and 11 of the M25 motorway. It's also between Heathrow and Gatwick airports. It's free to enter the Mercedes complex for the public.
Inside the Building
The building has three floors. You can see over 100 cars on display. This includes a historic 300SL Gullwing. You can also see all the latest sports and performance models. There's a cinema, a restaurant, and a simulator studio. You'll also find a cafe, displays, exhibitions, and a shop. Kids are very welcome, and there are many activities for all ages.
Getting There
A regular bus service connects Mercedes-Benz World to Weybridge railway station. It also links to Woking railway station.
Nearby Attractions
Next to Mercedes-Benz World is the Brooklands Museum. It has a large collection of old cars, motorbikes, and airplanes. These are all linked to the history of Brooklands. You can even see a Concorde airplane! The museum also has a cafe, a restaurant, and a kids' area. Also nearby is the London Bus Museum. It shows about 35 historic London buses. Some of them date back to the 1870s.
