Mettingen is a friendly town, also known as a municipality, located in the Steinfurt district of Germany. It's part of the state called North Rhine-Westphalia. This charming community is known for its history and the people who have come from there.

Mettingen is located in a nice spot in Germany. It's about 25 kilometers (15 miles) east of a city called Rheine. It's also about 20 kilometers (12 miles) west of another city, Osnabrück. This makes it easy to visit other places nearby.
