Meymand (Persian: ميمند) is a city in Iran. It is the main city of the Meymand District. This district is part of Firuzabad County in Fars Province.
Meymand became a city in 1961. This happened when three smaller villages joined together. These villages were Meymand-e Sofla, Meymand-e Olya, and Shabankareh.

Meymand is located in the Fars Province of Iran. It is a few kilometers east of Firuzabad. The famous city of Shiraz is about 113 kilometers (70 miles) away.
Most people in Meymand work with rose water. They make and sell it. Rose water is a fragrant liquid made from roses. It is very popular and is sent to many parts of Iran. It is also sent to countries like Arabia, India, and Java.
