Mic'hael played college football at East Carolina University. He also went to Bartlett Yancey High School in Yanceyville, North Carolina. Early Life and High School Football
Mic'hael Brooks grew up playing football. He played for the Bartlett Yancey High School Buccaneers. During his time there, he made 331 tackles. This means he stopped the player with the ball many times.
He was chosen as an all-region and all-conference player for three years. He was also named the defensive MVP. In his senior year, he became the team captain. That year, he had 94 tackles and 12.5 sacks. A sack happens when a defensive player tackles the quarterback before they can throw the ball.
Mic'hael also played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star Game. He was named the Danville Regional Defensive Player-of-the-Year in 2008. Besides football, he also earned a varsity letter in track and field.
College Football Career
After high school, Mic'hael Brooks played for the East Carolina Pirates. He played in 43 games from 2009 to 2012. During his college career, he made 52 solo tackles and ten sacks. He was also recognized for his great play. He earned Conference USA All-Freshman honors, which means he was one of the best new players in his conference.

Detroit Lions

Seattle Seahawks

Edmonton Eskimos
