A Goalie Scores a Goal!
Even though he was the first player picked in the draft, Michel didn't play much for his first team, the St. Louis Blues. He mostly played for their smaller team, the Kansas City Blues. On February 21, 1971, something amazing happened. The other team, the Oklahoma City Blazers, took their goalie off the ice to try and score. Michel Plasse shot the puck all the way down the ice. He scored a goal into the empty net! This made him the first professional goalie ever to score a goal in a game.
