Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Conspiracy is an exciting American adventure-comedy film from 2012. It's all about a young hero named Mickey Matson. He has to stop a group of villains who are descendants of a sneaky historical group.
These villains are linked to a group called the Copperheads. They were a political group during the Civil War who were against the war. In the movie, they are the bad guys trying to cause trouble. A special Petoskey stone from Michigan plays a big part in the story.
What's the Story?
The movie follows a brave young boy, Mickey Matson, played by Derek Brandon. Mickey finds a secret map hidden inside a special Petoskey stone. This stone was left to him by his Grandpa Jack, played by the famous actor Christopher Lloyd.
Mickey and his friend Sully Braginton, played by Francesca DeRosa, go on an amazing adventure. They follow clues to try and stop the villains. Their mission is to save their home and country from danger. The story even shows parts of history, like the time of President Abraham Lincoln and the American Civil War.
