The Hansen Lakes Family
Did you know Middle Hansen Lake is part of a family of three lakes? It's the biggest of the three Hansen Lakes. The other two are Upper Hansen Lake and Lower Hansen Lake.
Upper and Lower Hansen Lakes are just a short distance uphill from Middle Hansen Lake. A stream flows out from these lakes. This stream goes over a beautiful spot called Bridal Veil Falls before it joins Stanley Lake Creek.
How to Visit Middle Hansen Lake
If you want to visit Middle Hansen Lake, you can hike there! You'll use Sawtooth National Forest trail 640. This trail starts from the Stanley Lake trailhead.
To get to the trailhead, you'll take forest service road 455 from State Highway 21. It's a wonderful adventure for those who love the outdoors!
