Middleburg Baptist Church History
The Middleburg Baptist Church was started on November 27, 1881. Its first pastor, or leader, was Reverend M.V. McDuffy.
Pleasant Hill/Hawkins House History
The Pleasant Hill/Hawkins House is a historic building found near Middleburg. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. This list includes places in the United States that are important to history. The first part of the house was likely built by Colonel Philemon Hawkins II. It was also the birthplace of Governor William Hawkins, who lived from 1777 to 1819.
