Midvale is a small city in Washington County, Idaho, in the United States. It is located in a valley that was once called Middle Valley, which is how the city got its name.
In 2010, about 171 people lived in Midvale. By 2020, the population had grown slightly to 193 people.

History of Midvale
The first people settled in the Midvale area in 1868. A few years later, in 1876, a post office and a school were started. This helped the community grow.
Important things happened in the 1880s and 1890s. In 1884, people built the Middle Valley Ditch to help with farming. A year later, in 1885, the first store opened, making it easier for people to buy supplies. In 1898, the P&IN Rail Road came through, which helped connect Midvale to other places.
For a long time, from 1870 to 1900, raising animals like cattle was the main business. Today, Midvale supports many different types of farms in the area.
