According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.76 square miles (1.97 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 754 people, 279 households, and 201 families residing in the village. The population density was 992.1 inhabitants per square mile (383.1/km2). There were 291 housing units at an average density of 382.9 per square mile (147.8/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 98.0% White, 0.8% African American, 0.4% from other races, and 0.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.2% of the population.
There were 279 households of which 42.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.3% were married couples living together, 15.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 9.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 28.0% were non-families. 20.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.04.
The median age in the village was 33.7 years. 29% of residents were under the age of 18; 8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 28.5% were from 25 to 44; 23.9% were from 45 to 64; and 10.7% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 49.7% male and 50.3% female.
As of the census of 2000, there were 547 people, 213 households, and 156 families residing in the village. The population density was 897.5 people per square mile (346.2/km²). The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 3.01.
