Midville is a small city located in Burke County, in the state of Georgia, United States. In 2020, about 385 people lived there. Midville is also part of the larger Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area, which means it's connected to the bigger city of Augusta.

History of Midville
Midville became an official town in 1877. This happened when the Georgia General Assembly (which is like Georgia's state parliament) made it a recognized town. The name 'Midville' was chosen because it was located right in the middle of two other important cities: Macon and Savannah.
Geography of Midville
Midville is found in the southwest part of Burke County. Its exact location is 32°49′17″N 82°14′12″W / 32.82139°N 82.23667°W. The southern edge of the city is the Ogeechee River. This river also marks the border of the county.
The city covers a total area of about 5.2 square kilometers (or 2.0 square miles). Most of this area is land. Only a tiny part, about 0.02 square kilometers (0.01 square miles), is water.
