Midway is a populated place situated in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is one of two populated places in Arizona with this name, the other being located in La Paz County.
In 1969, Midway was described as "a longer siding" on the Tucson, Cornelia and Gila Bend Railroad, which went from Gila Bend, Arizona to Ajo, Arizona. In 1972, Midway and other sidings were humorously referred to as a "metropolises".
