Contents
The Space Chase Begins
In the huge emptiness of space, the evil Oil Can Harry is chasing Queen Pearl Pureheart. She is a leader of the Interstellar Federation (ISF). Harry wants to destroy her and the ISF. He says it's just his "hobby."
Pearl's spaceship escapes through an asteroid belt and the Milky Way. Harry's ship gets stuck. He then hides in a black hole. He uses it to capture Pearl's ship.
Mighty Mouse to the Rescue
Pearl sends a special distress signal using her "Save Our Necklace." This signal is a 3D image that finds Mighty Mouse anywhere. Mighty Mouse sees it while working out at his home. His house is shaped like a crescent moon and made of cheese!
Harry releases a giant robot cat called the "Catatomic-catom-aton." This robot can destroy planets and crush spaceships. Mighty Mouse fights the robot, but Pearl can't wait. She sneaks out and pulls a whisker from Harry's ship. This frees her ship, but she gets left behind.
Pearl's first mate realizes she is missing. He uses the necklace to call Mighty Mouse again. Mighty Mouse then discovers the robot cat was just a giant wind-up toy. He unwinds it and rushes to save Pearl.
A Tricky Brain Swap
Mighty Mouse finds Pearl connected to Harry's "Psycho-Recycler." Harry wants to force Pearl to tell him where the ISF hides the Domesday Device. This device is a giant vacuum cleaner that can suck up everything in the galaxy.
Harry's helper, Swifty, accidentally presses a pedal. This causes Pearl's brain to switch with Harry's brain! Mighty Mouse doesn't see this happen. He thinks Pearl's body still has Pearl's brain. So, he takes Pearl's body (with Harry's brain inside) back to his ship.
Adventures with Switched Brains
Harry, in Pearl's body, tries to trick Mighty Mouse's crew. He pretends to be Pearl sleeping. He then messes with the ship's controls. He even throws a wrench into the warp drive. This makes the ship spin out of control.
Meanwhile, Pearl, in Harry's body, tries to tell Swifty to let Mighty Mouse's ship go. Swifty realizes something is wrong. Security alerts go off. Swifty and his crew chase Pearl around the ship. They eventually lock her in a jail cell.
Mighty Mouse stops the spinning ship. He finds the wrench and thinks he's talking to Pearl (who is really Harry). Harry, using a high voice, convinces Mighty Mouse to go to planet Humongo for repairs. Harry says the ISF keeps the Domesday Device there, so it must have repair shops.
The Domesday Device Hunt
On Humongo, Mighty Mouse gets his ship fixed. Harry, still in Pearl's body, secretly takes pictures of the planet's hidden areas. Mighty Mouse then finds out the truth: Harry's brain is in Pearl's body!
Mighty Mouse flies back to the catship to save Pearl. He breaks into the jail cell. Pearl is happy to see him. Mighty Mouse takes her to the Psycho-Recycler. He uses a special wheel to power it up. Pearl pushes a button at the right moment. Their brains switch back to normal!
Now, Harry is back in his own body on his ship. Pearl is back in her body on Humongo. Harry is angry and orders his crew to fly to Humongo.
Harry's Plan for the Domesday Device
Pearl talks to King Muss of Humongo. She worries Harry might steal the Domesday Device. King Muss assures her it's very safe. But Harry and Swifty are listening. They find weaknesses in all the security measures.
The vault door has a strong lock. But the giant mice of Humongo keep a spare key under the welcome mat! Harry finds it. Guard dogs protect the device, but Harry and Swifty sneak in when the dogs clock out for their break. The King's secret service guards it too. But Harry tricks the guard with a fake note from his "mother."
The vault is made of super strong metal. Harry and Swifty use a sound machine. It turns the howls of three alley cats into powerful sound waves. These waves shatter the vault! An alarm goes off.
A Fishy Discovery
When the vault opens, the Domesday Device isn't there. Instead, Mighty Mouse is holding a pile of fish! Mighty Mouse throws the fish at the cats, and they run off. He then tells Harry he's there.
After a fight, Harry beams Mighty Mouse and Pearl onto his ship. But they get mixed up during the beaming! Pearl, King Muss, and the Humongo Police arrive. They see Mighty Mouse in the vault and think he broke in. Pearl arrests Mighty Mouse, and he goes peacefully.
The Trial and a New Threat
At the trial, King Muss is the judge. Mighty Mouse explains that he broke into the vault. He launched the Domesday Device into space to keep Harry from stealing it. Harry, listening in, plans to grab the device with his shuttle.
King Muss finds Mighty Mouse not guilty. But Harry intercepts the device. He replaces it with a ticking bomb! Mighty Mouse's super-hearing picks up the ticking. He throws the bomb back into space. It explodes near Harry's shuttle. But Harry is safe inside his main ship. Mighty Mouse promises to get the Domesday Device back. Pearl and her crew join him.
A Do-It-Yourself Disaster
Harry opens the Domesday Device package. He finds out it's a kit! It needs batteries and has to be put together. Swifty gives him what he thinks are the instructions. But it's actually a map of San Diego!
Mighty Mouse is spotted. Harry sets a huge, invisible mouse trap. As Mighty Mouse flies into it, Harry's crew finishes building the device. Harry tries to use it to suck up Pearl's ship. But the device explodes instead! This leaves radioactive debris.
Crash Landing on U-turn
Mighty Mouse frees himself from the trap. Harry is furious about the map. His crew reports they've lost control of the ship. It's heading for a crash on planet U-turn. Pearl's scanners pick this up, and her ship follows.
Harry finally finds the real instructions in a birdcage. His ship crashes on U-turn. Harry decides to make the mice of U-turn his slaves. These mice live like people from the Stone Age, with dinosaurs!
Harry meets three U-turn mice: Ug, Mug, and Reginald Algernon Whitecap III. He orders them to fix his ship. The mice say their planet is a democracy. Harry then uses a laser to destroy a monument. The mice get scared and start repairing his ship.
Mighty Mouse Saves the Day Again
Pearl and her first mate walk into what they think is a cave. It's actually a dinosaur called an Eyesaurus! Pearl calls Mighty Mouse. He rescues them.
Mighty Mouse and Pearl are then captured by the U-turn mice. Pearl thinks Harry brainwashed them. Harry and Swifty fly off to their secret lair. Mighty Mouse makes things right with the U-turn mice. He teaches them about farming. He even makes the Eyesaurus run on a treadmill to power a machine!
The Final Showdown
At his secret lair, Harry and Swifty build the Domesday Device correctly. Harry tries to use it on Mighty Mouse and Pearl. But nothing happens! The machine needs "hipporanium," a rare element. Only Mighty Mouse knows where it is.
Harry sends his spy, Matta Furri, to trick Mighty Mouse. She tries to get romantic with him. Mighty Mouse accidentally tells her where the last bit of hipporanium is. Harry overhears this. Pearl rescues Mighty Mouse.
The hipporanium is in a chemistry set at a toy store called Toys We Is. Harry throws out the toymaker and steals the hipporanium. He also steals Martian metal-eating ants. He unleashes them on Pearl's ship! The ants eat most of the ship. Mighty Mouse saves everyone by making a picnic for the ants. Pearl rebuilds her ship instantly with a special buzzer.
Victory and Celebration
Harry broadcasts his demands to the universe. All mice must bow to him. He wants a hot meal every day. He wants everything in the universe to be his, except for a toy train set for Swifty. He gives everyone five seconds to surrender.
Pearl calls him to say no one will obey. Harry uses the Domesday Device to suck up everything. It sucks up planets and even the sun! It eventually sucks up Mighty Mouse. Harry gives Pearl one last chance to surrender. He starts to suck up her ship.
But Mighty Mouse finds the edge of the device inside. He uses his super strength to make a hole. He pulls the reverse lever. The machine spits everything back out! Everything returns to its proper place.
Mighty Mouse then makes the Domesday Device suck up Harry's ship. He declares the battle won!
Later, a parade celebrates the victory. The Domesday Device's nozzle is tied in a knot. This traps Harry and his cats inside forever. Pearl blows Mighty Mouse a kiss, and he blushes. Harry appears briefly, saying he'll be back, but he's pushed off-screen.
