Alan Oppenheimer is an American actor born on April 23, 1930. He has been acting in TV shows since the 1960s. He is also famous for his voice work in cartoons and movies, which he started in the 1970s.

Oppenheimer was born in New York City, United States, on April 23, 1930. His parents were Louis and Irene Oppenheimer. His father worked as a stockbroker.
Alan Oppenheimer's Acting Career
Alan Oppenheimer has had a long and interesting career. He has played many different characters in live-action TV shows. He is also well-known for his voice acting in cartoons and animated movies.
Live-Action TV Roles
Oppenheimer played many different characters on popular American TV shows. He was a soldier in Hogan's Heroes. He also played a secret agent on Get Smart.
He was the second actor to play Dr. Rudy Wells in The Six Million Dollar Man. He appeared in Happy Days as Mickey Malph's dad. He also had a role as Mayor Alvin B. Tutwiller on Mama's Family.
Oppenheimer appeared in the 1973 movie Westworld. He played the main computer technician. He also appeared in three different Star Trek TV series. In each show, he played a new character.
He was a Klingon cleric in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He played a Starfleet Captain in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He was also an alien ambassador in Star Trek: Voyager.

He was the voice of Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon. He also voiced Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, and Mer-Man in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He was Prime Evil in Filmation's Ghostbusters.
Other voice roles include characters in Thundarr the Barbarian and Vanity in The Smurfs. He voiced Falkor, Gmork, Rockbiter, and the Narrator in The NeverEnding Story (1984). In the 1990s, he was Merlin in The Legend of Prince Valiant.
Oppenheimer also worked on The Transformers. He voiced Beachcomber and Warpath. He was the voice of Roger Smith's butler, Norman Burg, in The Big O.
More recently, he voiced the Scientist in the 2009 animated film 9. He also voiced Batman's butler, Alfred Pennyworth, in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.
Oppenheimer has also voiced characters in video games. He was Dr. Piotr Ivanovich in Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix. He voiced Prometheus in God of War II. He also played Harold in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

Alan Oppenheimer married costume designer Marianna Elliott in 1958. They had three children together. They later divorced but got married again in 1992. They stayed married until Marianna passed away in 2003.
